› A welcome addition to the Mac

Piranesi 3.1 is reviewed by Tim Danaher of MacUser:

"Piranesi is a welcome addition to the Mac, as it's remarkably easy to produce convincing results...it's a compelling tool in the Mac artist's armoury."

› An indespensible tool

The European software review site http://www.it-enquirer.com takes a look at Piranesi 3 for Mac and awards it top marks.

Erik Vlietinck writes:
"Piranesi is a 3D painting application that allows you to create beautiful art from dull 3D models. Piranesi is an indispensable tool for everybody who creates 3D models for a living."

› Hello people, hello trees

Building Design reviews Piranesi and is especially impressed by its image library and placement tools.

Paul Madden writes:
"Within 10 minutes of experiment, my jaw dropped at what this application can do...One click and your figure is in perfect proportion...this function alone justifies buying the software."

› Brave New World

The Architects' Journal, 17 April 2003 edition, features ttsp and their use of MicroGDS in an article by Sutherland Lyall. Titled "Brave New World", it explains how ttsp, a 60 strong London practice, have used MicroGDS as the foundation for their CAD system. The importance of good drawing structure is emphasised - "object-based MicroGDS does things better for the practice than AutoCAD which in its basic form is essentially a drafting tool". The ease with which different people can work simultaneously on a MicroGDS model also gets praise.

› MicroGDS7.1 - Something for everyone

AEC Magazine Feb/March 2003 issue has a review of MicroGDS 7.1.

Greg Corke reports
"The MicroGDS7.1 family aims to offer something for everyone... Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other product on the market that can knock out high quality images suitable for presentations as quickly, and at the same time providing the scalability to work on large scale projects in a multi-user environment"

› MicroGDS produces fabulous drawings

In the latest issue of the Architects' Journal, Joe Croser reviews MicroGDS 7:

"MicroGDS V7's great strength still lies in its ability to handle huge quantities of data which can be located on a single computer or spread across a wide area network."

"MicroGDS is more than a match for Vector Works in terms of presentation drawing."

"MicroGDS V7 really has matured. The interface is more graphical, more windows-logical and ultimately easier to use. The data structure continues to handle large quantities of information with ease and it has the ability to produce fabulous drawings."
